Today is the last day to subscribe to our new book, ‘The Old Library, Trinity College Dublin, 1712-2012′. This lavishly illustrated volume, edited by W.E. Vaughan FTCD, is being published to celebrate the tercentenary of the laying of the foundation stone of the world-famous Old Library in May 1712. This stately building houses collections of international importance which are still being added to by gift and purchase.
Almost 40 contributors will explore some of the features of this remarkable building and its contents.
The names of subscribers will be printed in the volume, which will be available from October 2012.
The volume will contain 360 pages, printed on acid-free paper and bound in cloth. The price to subscribers will be €40 and to non-subscribers €50. Order online at the Library Shop now!

I am wondering if I did subscribe to the above book” The Old Library”. I remember filling out an online form and charging my visa card for 40 Euros on March 18th(which shows up on my visa statement) but did not get any acknowledgement from the Library to say that I subscribed. Can you please clarify this for me. Thank you.
Hi Marian,
I’ll see if I can get someone to answer you directly!
Greg
Were the “Friends of the Library” notified about this.
I only happened on this notice today, Oct 2, presumably too late to subscribe?
